CLUB REVOLVER
Revolver….. Back with a Bang in 2009!
Don’t miss Dublin’s coolest live music showcase Revolver on Saturday 28th March @ Radio City Dublin. Live this month at Revolver in association with Becks Vier we have performances from ORPHAN CODE, THE LOOKS, THE DISTRACTORS and YNGVE Wieland. Following the live sets, resident DJ Sinead Ni Mhordha from Phantom 105.2 will entertain the crowd with her own blend of alternative and Indie tracks.
Revolver could not be happier about welcoming back Orphan Code for a headline performance. On the crest of a wave after a big 2008 Orphan Code promise to follow it up with a great 2009. Following the success of their debut single Last Dance, which was playlisted on 2fm, we eagerly await the debut album from this great live band!
Next on the bill are Dublin band The Looks. If you check out any new band in 2009 it has to be THE LOOKS. An extremely cool four piece, The Looks are everything you want in a Band; loud driven guitars, great hooks and unbelievable live performances. Trust us, YOU ARE a Looks fan, you just don’t know it yet.
German-born and Irish-raised, YNGVE Wieland has been simmering under the skin of the music industry since 2004. Growing up in rural Sligo in the eighties his dads weekly blues sessions fuelled his interest in music. Fast-forward to adulthood and young Yngve has, amongst various headline appearances, shared bills with Jape, Katell Keineg, Nina Hynes and Paul Weller. A worthy addition to any bill, we can’t wait for Yngve to grace the revolver stage.

As always Revolver in conjunction with its’ media partners Phantom promises to deliver a new experience in live music and clubbing every month. Our aim is to provide a unique collaboration of fresh live sets and our favourite alternative club tracks, a rarity on the Dublin music scene.
After the live sets, Club Revolver featuring Sinead Ni Mhordha from Phantom FM will entertain the masses until the wee hours. Sinead is now a regular on the Dublin club scene and her sets of indie, glam pop and rock and roll always leave the crowd hungry for more.
Live sets run from 8.30pm till 11.30pm and tickets priced €10 are available from ticketmaster.ie. Alternatively, if you are a lover of DJ Sets and want to skip the live sets come along and pay €10 entry on the door
