Festival season is soon kicking off (well it has started already if were lucky enough to get to Coachella!) On June 4th – 6th is Life Fesival with top class DJ’s, including live sets from Japanese Popstars, who will be popping up at many festivals this summer!

We all know how great Irish bands are so it’s great to see them making waves at international festivals also.

At Sonar last year Irish DJ’s Mano Le Tough and Ruairi had the Red Bull Academy Tent heaving in the sun in Barcelona, and we are waiting to see what Irish acts will be flying the flag there this year.

Glastonbury is on June 23rd – 27th, with Two Door Cinema Club playing both the Thursday and the Saturday, other home grown acts include the fabulous Imelda May, Christy Moore, Julie Feeny, Brian Kennedy, and Fionn Regan.

If you have the energy, the weekend after Oxegen you could go to Benicassim, in lovely sunny Spain on the weekend of July 15th – 18th. Top Irish Acts there will include, fresh from Glastonbury, Fionn Regan, as well as Delorentos, Jack L, Japanese Popstars, and Two Door Cinema Club.

Bestival takes place on 9th – 12 September in Robin Hill Countryside Adventure Park, near Newport on the Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland’s The Japanese Popstars will be playing at this festival season finale.
